Thomas Barnhart is a 2027 C/OF with a 5-11 194 lb. frame from West Union, OH who attends Archbishop Moeller. Strong and compact prototypical catcher's build. Right handed hitter, sets up in an even stance with a deep hand load and a small leg raise trigger, medium stride into contact, gets his weight shift well to his front side, has some bat speed and plenty of lift in his path, created carry to the middle of the field, strength stood out, has pre-swing elements that he can shorten up for more consistency. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Sets up high behind the plate, longer over the top arm action with some effort in release, made accurate throws. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
