Chloe Preuss is 5'7, class of 2026 SS/ from Roseville, CA who attends Woodcreek HS. Chloe is an emerging athlete who shows a skill set that is far above her age group. In addition to her quite noticeable ability on the diamond, Chloe is an exemplary student in the classroom. She ran a 5.57 40-yard dash and a 1.80 10-yard split. Here 5/10/5 shuttle run shows outstanding agility. A primary MIF, Chloe is a sound defender now and should almost certainly grow into an elite player with the glove. Her first step quickness allows her to position with ease and play through the fielding action with gathering momentum. Her soft, sure hands are impressive, Chloe's transition to throw is far above her age group. She almost makes defense look too easy. Her powerful arm allows her 64-mph throws to stay true and firm and always on target. Chloe appears comfortable in and with her ability, although she doesn't look satisfied. Her obvious drive to improve makes her a plus prospect with the leather. Offensively, Chloe is elite for her age. She is an easy and accomplished bunter. She is balanced at the ready and has a quiet trigger. Her hands are quick and gets her barrel to and through contact with force. She has a veteran's feel for the barrel and her ability to power the ball will only get better. Chloe's upside potential as a hitter is off the charts. With physical maturity, an advanced strength and conditioning program, continued attention to detail and exposure to elite competition, Chloe should continue to climb the elite ladder. She has a high ceiling and should progress over the next few years to be a prime prospect.
