Cole Schott is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Highland Village, TX who attends Marcus. Strong and athletic build. Primary 3b and should be able to stick there moving forward. Gets to the backhand well and looks it in. Moves well for size in general. Uses a 2 hand gather and funnel above belt. Good feel working up the middle and can get around the ball. Gets it out with pace from a quick transfer and release. Was up to 82 from across the diamond with accuracy. Also pitched throwing from a standard 3/4 slot. Fastball worked up to 83 with life out of the hand. Gets downhill with a long stride to the plate. Fastball showed good run to it and located it well on the outer half. Flashed a firmer slider with 2-plane break and sharp bite. Pitch-ability stood out and projects well off the mound. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base. Showed excellent bat speed with big time strength off the barrel. Can really impact it to all fields with power. Swing gets repeated well and looks to lift and launch the ball with intent. Power projects really well. Also produced an exit velo of 90. Showed good instincts on the base-paths in game action. Also hosed a runner from center showing off the arm strength. Strong ability on both sides of the ball and should continue to get better. Good student. Named to the PG South Central HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
