Wilkin Lurie is a 2026 OF/C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Asheville, NC who attends Asheville. Solid projectable frame with present twitchy actions, wiry strength and plenty of time and room to add over time. Ran the 60 yard dash in a very impressive 6.55 seconds. Primary position OF, showing excellent first step quickness, getting into his routes with good angles and fundamentals. Does use infielder type actions to field and will see throws play at an even higher level when working through the ball as he fields. Deep midline transfer to full, over the top arm action building throws up to 82 mph back to the infield. RHH starting with an extra wide stance, good handset at the shoulders and small toe tap trigger for timing. Some length in front arm leading to flat barrel path with good strength at impact and emerging feel for the bat head. Hand speed stands out and low line drives play well with his foot speed skill. Table setter type offensive skillset with projectable power and middle of the field glove skills. Outstanding student as well.
