Jeremiah Lucero is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-8 173 lb. frame from Desoto, TX who attends Desoto. Jeremiah works well on the infield with good footwork and soft hands. Able to get to the ball under control helps him get out of the glove quickly and make up for lesser arm strength. Ideally best suited for second base. Lucero has an even base in the box with a deep hand load. A small leg lift to transition but even deeper with hands causes a longer swing path through the zone. When he gets on plane with the baseball he makes good contact.
