Matthew O'Grady is a 2026 OF/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Williams Bay, WI who attends Badger. A medium frame and athletic build with some physical traits and good strength off of it. Projects well moving forward. Good athleticism throughout. Ran a 6.63 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with feel to come through it well, showing good aggression working to it. He fields it bent over, and he creates some whip working through release with a fast arm with present arm strength that shows. He was accurate around the bag with a clean release. Quick first step with a one-hand gather out in front, showing good intent to the actions. Carries the momentum through it well. Threw 85 mph during his round. A right-handed hitter with a spread base, athletic stance, high hands, and the high back elbow. He was balanced throughout with a simple & minimal trigger. He showed hard turns with a loose stroke and a good barrel whip working through it. He creates loud impacts and was able to show strength off of it. Took some loud swings with good contact working up the middle and a feel to work pull-side. Impacted with strength. Produced a 90 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Great student. Named to a North Indoor Showcase TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
