Daggu Rana is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from McLean, VA who attends Langley. Lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with efficient movements and fundamental footwork, softer hands and routinely gets to a fundamental fielding position, arm strength that really stands out, up to 86 across the diamond and made strong and accurate throws in games. Hit from a slightly open stance, well timed and connected load getting to a fundamental hitting position, sits and spins with the swing, some inconsistencies to the bat path and will spin off the ball at times but showed bat to ball skills and got to the barrel in games some. Above average strike thrower on the mound, segmented delivery with a consistent release point, go the fastball up to 81, showed feel for spinning a slider that projects to be a quality offering with vertical tilt and a developing feel for the change up. Shows some developing 2-way ability overall.
