Samuel Swedarsky is a 2026 RHP/UT with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Woodmere, NY who attends Drs Yeshiva H.S. for Boys. Large, sturdy build with well-proportioned strength present throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes an abbreviated wind-up delivery with a leg lift up to the midsection. Separates the hands at the chest before releasing the baseball from a low three-quarters arm slot. Carries momentum down the slope effectively. Fastball showed late arm-side run and some heaviness, ultimately peaking at 80 mph. Filled up all parts of the zone with it. Mixed in a well-tunneled 11-5 breaking ball with gradual depth. Flashed a low-70s changeup with late fade to the arm side. Has a feel for the mound. In the infield, worked through the baseball with quiet footwork, getting to his spots at a deliberate pace. Displayed developing athleticism with limited lateral range. Funnels the ball smoothly before releasing it from a lower slot. Has the ability to adjust arm slots while delivering accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 76 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even, upright stance with a high back elbow and loose, high hand set-up. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing before working into a compact, level bat path. Turns fast to the point of contact while scissor-kicking slightly through his finish. Has tons of strength in the hands with intriguing bat speed. Produced several well-struck line drives to all parts of the field during his batting practice round. Impacts the baseball with authority when timed up. Posted an exit velocity of 87 mph. Ran a 4.22 sec thirty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 New York Indoor Showcase (Sunday) Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
