Matthew Affleck is a 2027 RHP/3B, SS, OF, UT with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Braden River. Tall and lanky young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with a loose, fluid delivery. Whippy arm action with a medium leg lift. Some crossbody deception to release. Command stood out with lots of strikes. Fastball was up to 84 mph and lived in the low-80s. Slider has sharp bite and changeup gets lots of tumbling action. Could throw any offering in any count and pitchability really stood out. Arm strength played from secondary position of the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Upright start with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Level swing plane and can turn the barrel over well. Quickness to the hands and flashes of impact. Good student. Named to the Florida HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
