Connor Kenjic is a 2027 C/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Hobart, IN who attends Hobart. Primary catcher. Lean build. Square crouch with soft hands. Gets out of the crouch quickly gaining moderate ground into throws. Clean exchanges with a quick whippy from ear release. Comes out well and was on line often. 1.99 pop. In the infield, shows quick feet laterally and on the charge with sound glove action especially to the backhand. Two hand gather to the chest and a compact release. Plenty of arm strength to carry the back across from deep in the hole. Stand out defender at both positions. Right-handed hitter, medium base and open stance. Shows plenty of rhythm with a tension free stroke. Easy repeatable swing thats functional and efficient to impact. Living on the barrel and driiving it to all parts of the field. 7.57 60-yard. Great student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
