Christian Gentrup is a 2026 2B/SS with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Summerfield, NC who attends Northwest Guilford. Medium current frame with solid athletic actions and some hop in his step. Plenty of time and room to add mass. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary position IF, with active footwork and doing a nice job of getting into proper angles. Does a nice job with the glove, presenting it out front with softness securing the ball. Good midline transfer through deep funnel. Emerging arm strength with feeds up to 74 mph across the diamond. RHH using a narrow and upright stance to start. Carrying hands out front and about shoulder height getting the barrel to impact before the hands. Emerging overall feel for the bat head. Rotational operation. Young athlete with a lot of time to refine skills and is an outstanding student as well.
