2025 PG Coastal High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Robby Kessler is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-2 156 lb. frame from Huntingtown, MD who attends Huntingtown. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.19 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has athletic actions moving to the ball, fields it cleanly, throws from a longer 3/4's arm stroke with good carry, made accurate throws, projects well defensively. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and slightly open stance with a hanging leg lift load, short swing path with quick hands and the ability to impact the ball, line drive swing plane, good extension out front, worked best pull side to mid field, good game swings. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a side step start and some coil over the rubber, gets downhill well to the plate with a loose and long 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with nice running life, move velocity there as he gets stronger. Curveball was a solid pitch with some 11/5 depth and tightness. Change up in the low 70's showed promise as well. Named to the PG Coastal High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.
