Kellan Johns is a 2023 RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Everett, WA who attends Henry M. Jackson. Medium frame with good size and strength to both halves that he utilizes well. Ran a 8.33 in the 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery with a big leg lift into a mid three-quarter release. Simple drop-and-drive mechanics produce a fastball in the high-70s with subtle life up in the zone. Showed feel for a tight spinning slider with late break. Flashed a true 11-5 curveball with tight depth that missed bats. Solid presence and feel on the mound. Good secondaries that locate well. Very good student.
