Sawyer Brown is a 2029 1B/RHP with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Silver Point, TN who attends Upperman. Brown works from a medium frame with good size/strength for his age. Should continue to fill out and develop nicely as a '29 prospect. As a primary 1B, displayed reliable glove work with some quickness to turns. Compact arm action across the diamond up to 58 mph with further room to see arm strength improve in the future. Refining footwork with additional room to attack the baseball and really create momentum behind throws. On the mound, showcased a controlled and deliberate operation with a belt high leg lift and over the top slot. Displayed intent to challenge in the zone and record outs efficiently. Spin profile should continue to become more prominent as the righty gets older. Offensively, Brown started with a high hand set and lower back elbow flashing a linear path through the zone. He utilized a simple stride into impact with contact to all parts of the field. Posted an exit velo of 67 mph. Ran a 7.89 sixty yard dash.
