Nick Ruder is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-0 179 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Features a solid, athletic frame. Has a two-pitch mix that includes fastball and curveball. Working exclusively out of the stretch with a high leg lift into a half hip turn. The delivery is balanced and repeatable. Throws out of a high three-quarter slot with long arm action. Curveball has twelve-six shape with depth and he locates it efficiently. Showed proper footwork and glove mechanics in the outfield. Works through the baseball while fielding out front. Has a quick transfer and throws out of a high three-quarter slot with longer arm action. Stayed accurate throughout. Has a medium base at the plate with a slight leg lift load and a low back elbow. Strong hands with a quick bat and has an up the middle approach. Ran a 7.17 sixty-yard dash. Excellent Student.
