Brayan Florentino is a 2024 OF with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from San Pedro De Macorís, PM. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. Primary outfield, deliberate actions on the approach and working to the ball, short arm action through the backside, works to an over-the-top release point and gets on top of ball at release well, some present strength on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide and in line base in the box, gathers weight on backside well at start of swing. Gets inconsistent with timing but shows fast hands, works around the ball and creates extension out front. Best contact to the middle of the field while working on a line, gets long with swing path at times. Good student.
