2022 Summer Dominican Republic Showcase
Oliver Encarnacion is a 2022 OF/ with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC who attends Nina School. Medium height with a classic build and some current strength. Ran a 7.33 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, quick feet with lots of confidence in the approach and glove. Lots of feel and short release when throwing, solid foundation defensively. A left-handed hitter, starts narrow and open using a deep knee to knee trigger. Flat path with a loose bottom hand that can shoot liners late in the zone to all fields. Hard line drive single to RCF during game play.
