Blake French is a 2027 OF/RHP/3B/C with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Mocksville, NC who attends Davie County. Nice young athletic build with good strength for his age and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter hits from a narrow and open start, will occasionally double tap into shift, has good strength in his swing and some barrel control, will need to make adjustments to his load and shift as the game speeds up to become more consistent. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has some arm strength makes accurate one hop throws. Also plays the infield and catcher and has the physical tools to be solid at both those positions. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with slow to fast mechanics, low hands throughout, tends to rush. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, also threw a curveball and a diving change up. Good athlete with impressive size, will continue to improve in all areas. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
