Ronny Bello is a 2024 SS with a 5-10 147 lb. frame from San Pedro De Macoris, PM who attends Colegio Mis Primeros Pasos. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, plays low to and through the ball, short and quick steps on the approach, hands work out front and shows nice arm strength across the diamond, works to a lower slot, tools to stick on the left side moving forward. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and slightly open base with a medium hand set in the box; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Lower half works well in swing and projects with added strength, direct stroke and works on a linear path through the zone. Best contact to pull side while working on a line, looseness to swing and employs a middle of the field approach. Excellent student.
