Ayden Peterson is a 2027 1B/RHP, 3B, IF, OF, UT with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Trenton, IL who attends Wesclin. Medium, athletic build with present strength to the frame. Ran a 7.98 60-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide base in the stance with the hands set high, rocks into the load, no stride out. Solid hand speed and gets the barrel extended with ease. Strength stands out to the pull-side. Primary first baseman, has fundamentally sound footwork around the bag, two hand funnel out front, quick exchange, long arm swing to a higher release. Feeds the double play well, changes arm slots nicely, recorded accurate throws across up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps into a belt high leg lift, higher three quarters slot, generates cut on the fastball. Sat in the upper-70s, up to 79 mph (1953 RPM). Good feel for spin for the age, up to 70 mph (2300 RPM). Also worked out in the infield, limited range up the middle, two hand funnel out front, step by step footwork working around the baseball. Long exchange and arm swing, good arm up to 81 mph. Excellent student.
