Brett Hudson is a 2027 SS/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Millersville, MD who attends Severna Park. Medium current frame with lean muscular build and solid projection for a young athlete. Primary position IF, working methodically to the ball and showing feel for angles. Presents the glove out front well and hands work smoothly through the ball. Making all the plays, showed emerging lateral mobility but understands the position. Solid accurate arm with feeds of 72 mph across the diamond. Showed very good on the slow roller play as well. Secondary RHP, working exclusively from the stretch and breaking hands at the chest. Arm path is deep and slightly offline in the back as he works through high 3/4 arm angle. Strides a touch across the midline but gets through the ball well. FB up to 79 mph with some natural cutting action and lower spin traits. CB is his secondary offering with late bite in the low-70s. Competes in the zone. RHH working from an even stance wit a high hanging leg lift and high handset to start. Displayed good hand speed. Strides slightly closed leading to hard contact to the pull side. Ball gets off barrel with some loud contact. Young prospect that has the look of an offensive middle infielder long term.
