Nicolas Bustamante is a 2024 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Pecos, TX who attends Pecos. Athletic build with good long limbs. Primary middle infielder who moves well laterally with a clean gather and transfer. Starts and stays low throughout the process. Gets to the ball easily and works around it. Soft hands with quick feet. Made all throws with strength and accuracy behind them. Also ran a 7.54 sixty. Left-handed hitter with a narrow base starting slightly open. Uses a small leg lift and stride for timing and rhythm. Showed good feel to launch especially to pull with impact strength out in front. Can clear the hips and turn on the ball. Creates leverage and can launch with a smooth lefty swing. Power potential projects well here. Good student. Also named to the Top Prospect List.
