Trent Chris is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Santa Clara, UT who attends Snow Canyon. Features a long, lean, athletic frame with room to add. Has a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, curveball and changeup. Side steps into a full hip turn while staying linear down the bump. Curveball has one-seven shape with depth. Throws out of high three-quarter slot with shorter arm action. Has a short leg lift into a gliding stride tot he plate. Simple, balanced, repeatable delivery. Consistently stayed around the zone throughout the outing. Showed solid lateral movements at first base. Made all the plays with accurate double play feeds. Has a medium base at the plate with a high back elbow and a slight leg lift load. Present gap power with a pull side approach finding the barrel consistently. Ran a 7.71 sixty-yard dash. Good Student.
