Jace Trancosa is a 2022 2B/ with a 5-4 125 lb. frame from San Felipe Pueblo, NM who attends Santa Fe Indian School. Features a smaller, athletic frame. Ran a 7.93 60-yard. Showed the ability to move fairly well in the outfield. Charges the ball hard. Catches the ball fairly well. Flashed some arm speed throughout long arm action. High release hindered accuracy on some throws. Also showed fair glove actions throughout infield drills. Quick footwork allows for solid range in both directions. Arm strength played better on the dirt. Utilizes a narrow, upright setup in the box. Uses a short stride with little hand movement to start swing. Adding more rhythm into load could help improve timing consistency. Direct bat path stays inside the ball. Uses the opposite field well. Adding strength to frame will allow for balls to be hit with more authority.
