Van Kamen is a 2026 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-5 105 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Park Vista Community. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, takes short steps moving towards the ball, fields it out front and shows fundamentals in skills, shorter arm action through the back working to a higher release point, shows accuracy across the diamond, arm strength will continue to develop on throws. Young actions in the outfield, stays back on the ball, shows accuracy on throws, can continue to implement additional lower half into release. Switch-hitter, showed better from the right side in this look; shows more balance in stroke at present, looser stroke and has a handle for the barrel, easy swing, overall bat speed will continue to develop. High hand set and lower back elbow at the plate from left side with an even stance, handsy swing, looks to get extended, gets around the ball at contact, will open front side early at times. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
