Vincent Rangel is a 2027 2B/OF with a 5-3 110 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Rio Grande. He has a small frame and a slender build with a lot of physical maturity ahead of him. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.39 seconds. Primary second baseman that moves quickly to both sides of his body and worked himself into the proper fielding position. He does a nice job of working through his throws with his lower half and has developing arm strength that will benefit from maturation. Secondary outfielder that has young actions to the ball and fields the ball off to the side. He throws with a long arm action. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wider base that is slightly squatty. He uses a simple stride for timing and does a nice job of utilizing his lower half. He has a whole field approach and has some natural lift to his swing. Good student.
