James Latshaw is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Fillmore, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Tall, high-waisted frame with more room. Ran a 6.76 in the sixty. Right-handed pitcher, starts first base side of rubber working into a high three-quarter slot with a short take back at the top. Small arm circle. Clean and loose arm. Good sink to the fastball, gets on top of it well. Changeup is a go-to with arm side fade. Can spin a slider with intent too, big time mix and athlete on the hill. Showed a loud arm in outfield and infield drills. Plenty of carry out of the hand. Fields well and accurate at both spots. Good plays on the backhand in infield drills, clean process. Right-handed hitter, even base and works from a forward stride. Big bat speed and impact. Fast hands, short swing and made some loud pull-side contact. Very good student Named to Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
