Yariel "Lito" Diaz is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends TNXL Academy. Lean athletic build. Primary outfielder who showed a higher ceiling on the mound at this event. 7.08 runner in the sixty. Showed his athleticism well on defense, easy mover to the ball, makes very accurate throws with good carry and more arm strength there. Left handed hitter, best when he's turning the barrel over, can get too inside at times, still developing his strength and bat speed. Works from the third base side of the rubber on the mound, has rhythm and athleticism to his delivery and repeats it well. Fastball topped out at 87 mph. Slider has cutter like action at times and can add and subtract and manipulate the break. Change was a very nice pitch with feel and the ability to locate. Very polished for his age with lots of projection remaining. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
