Anthony Polanco is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Creek. Lean and wiry athletic build. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, good feet to throw and works quick with his transfer. Has the makings of real soft hands with sound feet up the middle. Comfortable ranging to either side with more arm strength in store, accuracy on display. Also pitched, works from an over the top arm action with ability to stay in line. Showed good action to fastball with differing shapes to his breaking pitches. Feel for the zone and pounded glove side corner. Right-handed hitter with a balanced stance and kicks the weight back nicely. Quick hands and feel for the opposite field, inside-out real nice and has feel. Stays direct and short to the ball. Very good student.
