2025 PG Jr. National Showcase
Mason Sims is a 2027 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Corona. Medium athletic build with long arms for his height. Well paced delivery leading to a low 3/4's arm slot, bit of angle at release, ball comes out of his hand easily, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with good running life, showed the ability to spot the fastball to both sides of the plate and work north/south as well. Breaking ball was a big sweeping slurve, will over match left handed hitters with that pitch. Nice sinking change as his third pitch. Starter profile with lots of deception and plus control potential. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
