2024 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sat.)
Austin Buchanan is a 2025 OF/1B/3B with a 5-11 187 lb. frame from Mullica Hill, NJ who attends Delsea Regional. Buchanan impressed throughout multiple aspects of his game, starting defensively at his primary OF spot where he displayed natural athletic movements with fluid transitions and solid carry behind throws up to 85 mph. The arm action was full and repeatable with good downhill momentum created. Offensively, Buchanan started from a narrow slightly open base with a lower hand set, creating clear leverage when timed up with evident strength in the hands. He generated carry and backspin on the baseball and translated the stroke in game with power potential to the pull side of the field. Posted an exit velo of 91 mph. Ran a 7.69 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
