Chandler Henry is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Alpine, CA who attends Granite Hills. Taller frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a quick turn to medium leg lift delivery. Creates slight coil over back hip at gather and worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Quicker arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball jumped out of hand well creating some natural cut to glove side in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 78 mph. Curveball showed 10/5 shape with occasional tight spin and good sweep to glove side. Looked to pitch with intent and challenge hitters to both edges of the plate. Also worked out defensively from first base showing clean footwork while surrounding the baseball and working around the bag. Funnels out front and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a three-quarter slot generating accurate carry to the bag at 76 mph. Right handed hitter with a spread, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Deeper hand load and employed a loose, uphill barrel plane through extension. Displayed developing feel for the barrel while utilizing a mid field approach. Flashed occasional jumped off the barrel when on time and squared.
