Caleb Clines is a 2020 SS with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Magnolia HS. Recorded a 7.34 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with room for physicality and some athleticism. Primary shortstop with a longer release but deliberate actions to both sides. Hands work well through the transfer with softness and ease of transitions. Arm strength recorded up to 78 mph with good athleticism throughout. Lefthanded hitter with an open stance and a leg kick into the swing. Swings with intent and hands stay back nicely. Looks to work the middle of the field with a slightly uphill swing. Some bat speed and impact strength present and looks to leverage the ball into the air. Good student.
