Michael Stellrecht is a 2022 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from East Amherst, NY who attends Williamsville East. Recorded a 7.06 second 60-yd dash. Long, sturdy frame with some room to physically mature. Primary shortstop with quick feet, good anticipation and feel for the position. Creates good angles while gaining momentum into release and arm strength across the diamond. Quick twitch actions and fast, accurate arm, recording throws up to 87 mph in drills. Switch-hitter with athleticism from both sides of the plate. Displayed a short, direct path with good extension from the left side while showing a more upward pathed power profile from the right side. Balance, barrel accuracy and quick hands were consistent throughout both swings. Will continue to improve with added strength. Excellent Student.
