Justin Blumenthal is a 2022 3B/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Greenland, NH who attends Portsmouth. Large and sturdy frame with plenty of advanced physicality. Ran a 7.41 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the baseball out in front to an upright gather, hands play well, developing actions with footwork and release. Secondary outfielder, fields the baseball to the side coming through it well and gaining good ground to his target, high 3/4 arm slot into throws getting on top of it well, showed similar arm strength both in the infield and outfield topping out 74 mph from each position. Righthanded hitter, spread out stance, big leg kick trigger, shifts weight well into contact, plenty of bat speed and strength to contact present, lower half could be refined in swing for added pop while hitting tools are still present. Good student.
