Carson Hornung is a 2021 SS/1B/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley Southwest. Huge projection in the high waisted and wide build. Ran a 6.95 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, solid third base profile based on his ability to take good angles and come in on the ball. Carry on throws and very accurate to the bag, can make all required plays. A left-handed hitter, starts with a relaxed and balanced base, easy bat speed and length in the zone with extension through contact. Keeps a vertical bat that provides natural lift to the pull side. Very good potential for to hit for both average and power. Good student.
