2023 High School All State Select Championship (2026-2027 Grads)
Logan Drake is a 2027 SS/3B, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Newburgh, IN who attends Castle. A lean frame and athletic build. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop who had a lower slot on his throws across the diamond. He was able to funnel quickly and get rid of the ball with some speed. Had a clue for the footwork and worked angles to get through the ball. He was low to the ground for the most part as he moved. Shorter arm action with a lower three-quarters slot, throwing 77 mph across to first. A left-handed hitter with a narrow base, starting slightly open. He used a small toe lift and stride to stay on time. He showed some quickness with the hands and bat speed through the zone. He was able to work gap-to-gap during his round of BP swings and was able to stay level through it, controlling the barrel quite well. Had a good feel for the barrel in the box. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Great student.
