Evan Brown is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Marlton, NJ who attends Cherokee. Compact frame with square shoulders and plenty of time to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 8.12 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked to the baseball rounding it off well getting in a good position to gather the baseball, quick-twitch actions moving to the baseball, average arm strength with effort at release, topped out at 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts delivery with a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a compact arm action, shows some quickness to his arm stroke, fastball has sinking action and topped out at 69 mph, big 12-6 curveball mixed in as well. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, utilizes a leg lift trigger into contact, has some quickness to his hands flashing some jump off of the barrel when squared, will improve with additional strength.
