Justin Alford is a 2020 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Gray, GA who attends Georgia Military College - Prep School. Compact build with present strength and athleticism. Ran a 7.10 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Displayed deliberate actions working to and through the baseball in the outfield. Flashed confident two handed fielding actions with clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 83 MPH from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs a even stance with a high hand set up and leg lift trigger. Showed a direct, compact hand path to the baseball with rotational actions. Showed a fluid bat path to the ball with good bat speed creating consistently driven contact. Uses a gap to gap approach looking to drive the ball to and through the gaps with consistently driven line drives. Showed good barrel control creating consistently driven contact throughout batting practice. Also pitched. Employs a small side step into belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing slightly closed off down the mound creating crossfire actions in the delivery. Flashed a straight take back with a compact arm action going to a three-quarter arm slot with good arm speed at release. Showed a fastball with good feel for the edges of the plate up to 79 MPH complemented with a 12/6 curveball thrown for consistent strikes at 56 MPH and a fading change up at 70 MPH.
