Nathan Kang is a 2025 3B/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Fullerton, CA who attends Servite. Medium, square shouldered frame with a high waist and strength in his lower half. Recorded a 7.47 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with smooth, fluid actions throughout the fielding process. Displayed proper footwork, efficient angles to range laterally from side-to-side and a clean funnel out in-front. Delivered accurate throws up to 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a tight hand set and leg lift trigger for timing. Leveraged stroke with pushed back hand loading mechanism and some separation into launch. Exhibits compact, present bat speed and intent with his lower half. Middle-of-the field approach with the ability to turn the barrel over on the inner-half, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and some additional physical maturity. Fundamentally sound prospect with some upside on both sides of the baseball. Excellent Student.
