William Prinz is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Edmonds, WA who attends Bishop Blanchet. Features a medium-sized frame with some quality athleticism. Ran a 6.74 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed solid defensive actions. Works with quickness and aggressiveness in the approach. Got the glove down late at times but was out front and slightly off to side for a clean reception. Used a shorter arm stroke that got off downhill throws with above avg. strength for his level and 4/5 accurate. At the plate, sits in an open stance with loose/rhythmic hands. Simple forward stride with minimal load to hands. Foot gets down early and hands work quick and direct to the baseball with a level finish. Flashes of above avg. bat speed. Some inconsistent timing and barrel feel but still produced several good LD results through the middle of the field. Named to Top Prospects List.
