Pablo Martinez is a 2027 RHP/OF/UT with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Falls. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, well pace leg raise at start of delivery, maintains nice direction coming down the mound with athleticism throughout. Compact and high arm action through the take back; fastball topped out at 75 mph, worked around the zone and showed running life to it at times. Comfort and confidence in landing curveball for strikes in the upper-50s, shorter 11-5 shape but thrown in zone often. Moves well to the ball in the outfield, fields it out front, whippy arm action with athleticism through the ball, works on top of throws well with low carry to the intended base, ball jumps out of hand cleanly. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; handsy stroke and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into swing. Comfort working the other way, 87 mph exit velocity shows strength off of the barrel, remains tight in swing, best contact when getting extended out front.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
