Eli Martin is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Zimmerman, MN who attends Zimmerman. Big and strong barrel chested athletic build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a good coil and shift into contact, gets into his strong lower half well, has big present bat speed with a pull and lift approach, ball was exploding off his barrel, huge power power tools to continue to develop. 6.77 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, is aggressive moving to the ball and carries his momentum into his throws, fields cleanly out front with a quick exchange and release, gets on top of his throws well with lots of carry on his throws. Also pitched, works from a standard side step delivery with a quick leg raise over the rubber and an over the top arm slot. Works downhill with his fastball, topped out at 85 mph and was mostly straight with occasional cutting action. Threw a firm change up as his secondary pitch with nice cut and dive at times. Good student. Named to the PG Minnesota Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
