2023 West Coast Prospect Showcase
Jake Hultz is a 2024 SS/1B/IF with an athletic 5-11 170 lb. frame from Manhattan Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.40 60-yard dash dash. A primary infielder that can play multiple positions as well. At the plate Hultz showed tremendous hand/bat speed pounding line-drives into the gap and showing over-the-fence power potential to the pull side. A really good, loud BP round. On defense he worked through the baseball in the infield and outfield with ease and confidence showing the skills to make all the plays and crisp on-line throws from both spots on the diamond. Good looking prospect.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
