2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Brock Turner is a 2023 MIF/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Honea Path, SC who attends Belton Honea Path High. Medium frame and current build with straight and time to add to athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds, a solid time for a young middle infielder. Very deliberate overall actions on the infield, displaying a feel for angles and timing on the clay. Works the glove out front and uses deep funnel in transition making very accurate throws across the field. Clean arm action producing throws up to 76 mph, spinning the ball backwards well and displaying the ability to change slots. RHH working from a wide base and loading weight into his back leg significantly. Creates bat speed from his upper body, gets a bit rotational at times but has strength in his hands. When his direction was in the middle fo the field, the ball got off his barrel quickly. Elite academic student and has a variety of talents on the field as he pitches too.
