Joshua Gentry, Jr. is a 2023 C/RHP, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Buda, TX who attends Johnson. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. Medium build with good athleticism to his overall game. Shows solid versatility and can play several positions well. On the mound, changes arm slots to create deception and throws with shorter arm action. His fastball was up to 75 MPH with some life to it and pairs it with a curveball that was 62 MPH. Good glove actions at multiple spots in the infield, his versatility is one of his best assets. Behind the plate, good catch and throw ability and can shift athletically with in his stance. At the plate, slightly more power over hit tool presently with some good strength to the swing. His highest exit velocity was 83 MPH.
