Cayman "Tiger" Renk is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Pleasanton, CA who attends Foothill. Features a smaller frame with present athleticism and plenty of room to add strength. Ran a 7.11 60-yd dash. Worked out in both the OF and INF. In the OF, showed a more relaxed approach to the baseball where he fielded it clean and out front with a loose arm that flashed some strength/carry. In the INF, he showed rawer actions with the glove but still flashed the athleticism with his light feet that got him to his spots in-time. At the plate, he sits in a wider base with lower set hands. He uses a simple load where his hands/barrel work through the ball well. Showed some inconsistent timing but barreled several to the pullside that he also showed in-game with a loud double to the LF wall. On the mound, the arm works free and easy where he works exclusively from the stretch. He gets down the mound pretty well with his lower half with good direction. His FB came out easy in the low-mid 70s and flashed a slider with shorter break/shape he had feel for in-zone. Named to Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
