Alexander Jendras is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 208 lb. frame from Wappingers Falls, NY who attends John Jay East Fishkill. Larger athletic build with very good present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and slightly open base with a leg raise trigger and stride, turns his hips well and gets into his strong lower half, has bat speed and strength at contact, big power to left center field, got into a groove and dominated the baseball. 6.67 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has plenty of present athleticism but may out grow the position, has soft hands and easy actions at the ball, very strong arm with developing accuracy, definite left side of the infield tools. Two-way prospect. Works from a full wind up from the third base side, has fluid and athletic mechanics, keeps his front side well and hides the ball, similar quality lower half actions as he has hitting, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat in the low 90's and topped out at 93 mph, gets on hitters quickly. Maintained his arm speed very well on a mid-70's sweeping curveball with 2800+ spin rates and an upper 70's change up. 50/50 player for which side of the ball he'll end up on, definitely a two-way college player. Good student with a verbal commitment to Seton Hall.
