2025 PG 13U National Showcase
Cam King is a 2029 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Moulton, AL who attends Lawrence Co. Long and lean young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, step by step actions into and through the ball, tends to throw uphill, developing arm strength. Also worked out in the infield, moved well to the ball, bends at the waist to field, glove can be late getting down at times, made good adjustments on the move with his arm. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a high back elbow load and a short stride into contact, has strong hands and some strength in his swing, middle of the field line drive contact with some back spin and jump off the barrel. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a high leg raise and medium length stride down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot with some downhill plane. Fastball was in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight. Still developing spin and feel for his breaking ball. Bat is his best tool.
