Beau Bloxsom is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Charlottesville, VA who attends The Covenant School. Young, slender build with super projectable frame, wiry strength and plenty of time to add more physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Primary position IF, moving quite well on his feet and showing lateral range. Sits back a bit but creates good angles and works the glove smoothly out front. Clean, deliberate transfer into full arm path creating accurate throws up to 73 mph across the diamond. Showed nice dexterity as he made the tough slow roller play. Secondary RHP, creating some angle with his height and high leg lift to load over the rubber. Breaks hands into a deeper, long arm path in the back and accelerates through a high 3/4 arm angle. Bit of a short stride for his height and will learn to incorporate the lower half more effectively with time. FB up to 73 mph with straight life in the zone. Really good feel for spin on his CB with 11-5 shape in the low-60s and landed it often for strikes. RHH starting well balanced with a turned in front shoulder and front foot as well to load. Swings with intent, really incorporating his hands to create bat head speed. Works inside the ball and uses a mostly opposite field approach. Projectable two-way tool set to watch in the near future.
